Developing software at Keybroker offers inspiring and challenging problem solving
The ever changing online marketing landscape requires talented and flexible developers with a strong interest in online marketing and social media. Keybroker’s technology department consists of talented engineers with high focus on everything from usability and front-end development to databases and back-end programming.
With technology like CampaignControl®, RealTime Ads™ and Qwaya, Keybroker’s technology team has made Keybroker one of the hottest technology companies in Sweden for three consecutive years*. Our systems handle hundreds of thousands of ads, keywords, demographic profiles and products for several of the largest advertisers and e-tailers. We integrate and manage data from all the leading search engines and social platforms and tracking solutions to automatically maximise our clients’ investments.
At Keybroker we use the latest technologies and modern methodologies like “Test-Driven Development” and “Scrum”. Working with agile methods makes us fast paced and easily adaptive when new online marketing channels arise.
From Magnus’s perspective:
How does the tech team work?
In the tech team we work with agile methods, including “Test-Driven Development” and “Scrum”. Scrum is an iterative and incremental method for running projects, and we use it to continually develop CampaignControl® into a better and better system. Test-Driven Development is a technique where each line of code written must be motivated by a test. This is also done in an iterative manner. Before any code is written a test is written, then the code is implemented to satisfy that test. After that you write the next test and so on.
What’s the advantage with RealTime Ads?
RealTime Ads™ allows our users to handle huge accounts by automating large parts of the campaign management. I think RealTime Ads™ puts us in front of our competitors.
What is the tech team’s main focus right now?
Our focus is RealTime Ads™, which lets the user implement business rules that decide how campaigns are structured. We think this will make campaign management business-based rather than click-based. The bottom line is that RealTime Ads™ will enable our users to create better and cheaper campaigns for larger customers.
What trends are you noticing in this area?
The major trend that we see now is the automation of tedious tasks. More and more complex tasks are becoming automated, leaving the analyst free to focus on business decisions.
